A Quick Loser's Rant

I lost 70 big bets at 20/40 last night. Ugh, I am going to cry if I ever get rehydrated. They wouldn't fold... and I sometimes paid them off. such as:

utg raises, she is a strange player. mp cold calls. I 3-bet with KsKh from the button. sb calls, they call.

4 players 12 sbs

Flop. Jh 10h 4c. They check, I bet, 3 calls.

Turn 7.5 bbs. 4h. They check. I bet, sb calls, utg check raises. mp folds. I call with my questionable 2 pair and K high flush draw. Sb tanks then calls.

River 13.5 bbs. 6d. sb checks, utg bets, I call, sb thinks then folds.


She had Q4s in spades. No, there weren't any spades on the flop.

Preflop DMW is dealt 64 in the big blind.Folded to button who puts in the usual steal limp. SB completes, I decided to nix the squeeze play here and check.

Flop 3sbs Qs 5h 4d Hero bets, button calls, sb calls.

Turn 3bbs 2s SB checks, Hero bets, button calls, SB c/r. Hero calls, Button calls.

River 9bbs 3s SB checks, Hero bets, button calls, sb calls.

Showdown: 12bbs

Hero shows 64s Flush Q high.
Button shows 79s Flush Q-9 high.
SB Shows AA mucks a pair of aces.

I folded on the flop

20/40 Limit Hold'em at Foxwoods. Sunday night, not too many regulars at the table. Several gamblers at the table and it is playing loose and aggressive.

limp, limp, MP raises, cc, cc, cut-off 3-bets. I call 3 bets cold with A6s from the button and I am proud of it, sb calls, bb caps. All call.

9 to flop. 36 sbs. I like Foxwoods.

Flop: 3d 4c Qh sb checks, big blind bets, all call to cut-off who raises. I fold. everyone else calls.

Dealer says "Eight players" table is like WTF, who folded? Everyone sneers at me.

36 bets pf, 16 on the turn. Expressed odds are assumed to be 52:2. I have no hand, no draw, no outs except running 5-7?

Tough laydown. I must be a pretty tight player.

Results. Turn came Ah and was checked around River black 9 and the pot was one by a nit's A9 s in diamonds.

20-40 early AM. I get 97 in the Hellojack and raise. CO calls, sb 3 bets, bb caps. We call. 16 small bets.

SB sucks and plays 80% of his starting hands, but I don't know it yet. The only hand I played with him, he got a set against my aces up and milked me for 3 bbs.

BB is woman who put in 3 big bets to show down Ace high last time we played.

Flop 458 The preflop 3-bettor and capper check to me. My jaw bounces off of my chip stack. I was so stunned I decided to do something novel, take the free card. CO obliges.

Turn 5 shucks. sb bets, we all call. 12 bets

River 2 sb bets, bb folds (no ace!?) and I cackle while counting out my raise. Just kidding!

I fold and CO folds too.
