Two Hands
I arrrived late to a 40$ freeeze out tournament at Sharkey's Poker Room in New Hampshire. ON the first hand I got AJo and raised to 5oo from utg+2. Blinds 100/200 and I had about 4600 in my starting stack. 4 players called.
Flop K J 8 rainbow. Pot T$ 2,ooo I led for 500 and one player called.
Turn K J 8 K. Now I am in no man's land. I bet 1k and he min raised. I was confused of course so I called. He had a hoodie and shades on and was staring away from me the entire time.
River was a 4. I checked and he went all in, covering me. I folded. He showed me the Q7o.
I'm not sure who played the hand worse, me I guess.

I'm down to 3k and get AKo utg. I raise to 500 and again get 4 callers.
flop comes A 8 2 rainbow. Pot T 2,000$. I lead for 500 like last time, now down to 2k. The first cold caller says you are in a lot of trouble and calls. I think 'duh, he's on a draw... what draw is on this board?' the other folded.
Turn A 8 2 J. Pot T$3,000. I thought the turn was a King. I bet 1k, underbetting to induce a shove from Q7, and I got it. But the turn was actually a J and he had AJ. River was a Q, which also looked like a K for a split second.
40$ to arrive late and win two hands. That's 20$ a hand for a tournament which is already 25% juice. New Hampshirements.

I played it again on Nov 5th. Instead of two hands, I lasted 90 minutes, but I still did not win a pot.
