I get lucky too, one outer!
Need to remind myself about this stuff once in a while.
10-20 Limit hold'em. 3:00am on a Tuesday.
I limp 66 utg+1 limp, button raises, blinds fold.
I really thought I was getting great set odds but the 10/20 is so schizophrenic. We had 6+ pots all night. Too make it worse, the button was very tight player.
Flop A 8 6 all clubs. I check, limper checks, button bets, I raise, fold, button 3-bets! I 4-bet, he calls.
While this may appear standard, I was not pleased with the button's 3-bet. I would definitely 3-bet with AKc there but I think he's too tight even for that.
Turn 3d. Bet, called instantly. no new information
River 6. Helloooo. He check and started his check-raise before my bet even hit the felt, confirming that he had pocket aces. I reraised, he 4-bet. I reraised as quickly as possible to make it look like I was not with it. But he just called with his aces full.
5 bets with quads verses AAA full? He was tight. I might have gotten a few more if I had a loose image but I was pretty tight in that game, only turning over str8s and quads the first 4 hours. Heh, after getting quads twice in 4 hours my image was very tight indeed.
